For a long time I've thought that charity fundraising sites are a bit of a con/cheek as they often take quite a large chunk of donations in fees. Today I discovered that one of the better ones is closing down.

However I also discovered a newer fundraising site that is completely free to charities/donators. And, in case that changes, a good comparison of fundraising sites.

This all spun out of looking into a completely free conference call service which really does seem to be free! It also works quite well too.
